2007 LT could be arguably the greatest... but now not really.

Cowboys vs Vikings..... :( comon vikings!

Why are you sadfacing, the Cowboys are probably the NFC playoff team that the Vikings most want to play. The Packers have already played the Vikings twice and would be almost guaranteed to ream the Vikings raw in a third matchup, the Cardinals have already shown how they can crush the Vikings, and the Eagles have a lot of dangerous players. While the Cowboys have several players that have a great opportunity to blow up against the Vikings (Felix Jones and Miles Austin come to mind), I think the Eagles would have a better matchup simply because McNabb is more elusive than Romo and the Vikings' pass rush will be key. If the Vikings can pressure Romo, they will actually have a chance to win. Against McNabb, the pressure might not be as effective. Also, the Eagles could just put in Vick and he would singlehandley destroy the Vikings as he did when he played for the Falcons. In any case, I'd say that the Vikings-Cowboys game will be very close, but the winner will not win another game in the playoffs.

Eh. I can see what you mean... but the Cowboys are very hot atm. I would rather face the Cards, who haven't faced the Vikings at home (where they are undefeated). The Cards are also very inconsistent so there isn't a guaranteed chance that they will play good.

The Pats/Brady are just gonna lay down in this one.... *Waits for all those Pats fans to make excuses about Welker/the Golden Boys broken finger

Can we please unban Freeman so that he has to answer about Tom Brady's performance in this quarter?

tad, you would rather your team face a team that just looked invincible than the team they were invincible against or the team they already dominated handily twice...what?

ya tom brady surely is the best quarterback ever....

this is the worst performance I have EVER seen of Tom Brady, EVER.

It's quite sad to watch, but i love it GO RAVENS

Yes, because the Vikings haven't played Dallas in forever so there it is unknown how they will matchup. The Eagles slapped the Vikings around last year in the playoffs (I went to that game ._.), as the Cardinals did earlier this year. Also, it is pretty much impossible to beat a team 3 times in one season, and the Packers are just as hot as the Cowboys.

itg we prove 3 things:

1.) brady isn't the best qb ever
2.) flacco can be absolutely terrible and still blow out an opponent with an amazing supporting cast
3.) moss is a jinx and will never win a super bowl with a team

To all the Patriots bandwagoners (name: Freeman) who called me a homer for picking the Ravens to beat them, I have three words: Suck. My. Dick. Lol at 40+ rushing attempts against only ten throws by Joe.

True, but thats because his durability sucks. He always seem to play a game, but never plays the game fully healthy. Peyton Manning is the best IQ QB I have seen played the game, but a fully healthy Tom Brady has the best physical skill set.

But I feel sorry for the Pats. The team was broken down by injuries and really had little chance to win in the first place.

That is true somewhat, but this is my take on The Brady Excuses.... If he wasnt healthy enough to play this game, THEN DONT PLAY. If he was going to fight through the pain, there cant be any excuses, win or lose

A broken finger on your throwing hand is a lot more of a detriment than one might think, but the alternative (Brady's backup is who?) was probably an even worse bet. Even with a healthy Brady and Welker, the defense can't be allowing an 83 yard TD run up the middle on the first play from scrimmage. I think the Ravens fought hard and deserved this win.

Being a Steelers fan though, I still have to hope they lose next week to the Clots :D

PS if the Cards hold on to this lead I will end up 3-1 on predictions for the weekend, so I can be happy. I was hoping I wouldn't have to redo my whole setup.

People play with injuries all the time, some are more or less severe than others. But the Pats Offense is all about Tom Brady. I do not know Tom Brady as a person, but if you are getting paid so much, is on a team relies on you that much, and a game as big as the playoffs, why wouldn't you play? Some people are less willing, but some people are more willing. It is all about what the person's desire to play or not, not if I am "healthy enough." Sure you fuck your ACL, its over. Injuries like Tom Brady's shouldn't be played, but he played with it anyways and you know your game won't be at its best. Tom Brady is a tough player to play through some real nasty, but somewhat playable injuries like 3 broken ribs and a messed up finger when you know you will get hit and potentially mess up more shit, but his desire to play is too great

Also, there are people who play who aren't healthy enough all the time. People play through concussions and other injuries when they should not have because they are scared not playing will hurt their job status or playing time.

But of course, you can't make excuses if you play hurt. Even if the injuries are the factors that fucked up the game, you can't make excuses. But whats the point of making excuses? Everyone sees things differently and making excuses might just make matters worst or any other unpredictable shit that comes in the future. Leave the personal excuses or what ifs to yourself or your peers, not the public.

Well I see the trolls are banned, for now, so how 'bout some real football stuff? And HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS? So, like, how's the playoffs? Kinda lame-ass games all-around this weekend, I think, although this Packers/Cards game is actually getting competitive. First time all weekend, heh...

Brady's "injury" is an excuse because woahmg he didn't have a perfect passer rating and maybe he isn't the best QB ever and whatnot ?? ...Favre's just lucky he gets to play at home against Dallas next week.

How can three broken ribs and a broken finger not affect your game as a QB? Yea, broken ribs may not affect how you throw, but if you keep on getting hit, it takes a toll on your fatigue later. A broken finger on your throwing hand is hard to play with as a QB. It significantly affects your grip and release point which can end up in inaccurate throws.

But come on, his ribs and fingers are broken, not bruised, not sprained, the type of injuries that are more likely to play through with little significant impact at the QB position. However, because he played, he cannot make an excuse now, or his image will risk being affected.

The Cowboys defense has allowed 12 points per game over the last nine games, including THREE games against the high scoring Eagles (as well as one Saints and Chargers, also really high scoring teams). Dallas losses: by 2 and 7 to Giants, 7 to Broncos, 10 to Packers, 3 to Chargers. Vikings losses: by 19 to Panthers, 6 to Bears (overtime), 13 to Cardinals, 10 to Steelers. That type of disparity favors the defensively dominant team. And...you beat the Packers two times in humiliating fashion! I would very much want that team as my repeat opponent, since I obviously have matchup advantages of some sort going on! You are being rather absurd!
