Sir Caliber XIV (M)
Many ages ago, Caliber was once a valiant knight of ancient Kalos who served his king loyally. When the massive Living Weapon was used in a war with an unknown enemy, he was slain as a result of the enormous fallout. Through some otherworldly force, he has risen from his untimely grave in Kalos, with no memories of his past life other than his death. Now an apparition of his former self, he walks the earth, gathering Pokemon to form an iron legion that will protect the world from violence and avenge the deaths of his brothers-in-arms as well as innocent people and Pokemon.

Weak Armor (Toggle): By default the Pokemon loosens its worn defensive armor so that it will break off when an opponent uses a contact attack, reducing the Pokemon's Defense and increasing their Speed by one (1) stage for each hit. When toggled, no effect.
No Guard (Passive): This Pokemon has an immense confidence from perfecting each of its attacks, giving them all perfect accuracy as well as ignoring the effects of Double Team, evasive moves, Dodge, Sky Drop, and evasive damaging moves. As a result, it feels it can weather every strike, and will not dodge an attack even if ordered to. Only when an OHKO move is issued by the opponent does the Pokemon sense return, and the Pokemon acts normally. Additionally, even with their extra skill, the power and exhaustion involved in using OHKO moves prevents them from being benefited by No Guard; they will have their normal accuracy.
Illusion (Passive): Whenever you send this Pokemon out, it can feign the appearance of another member on your squad. If this Pokemon is damaged by a direct attack, the Illusion will cease at the end of the round. Direct damage is any attack that does damage to the Pokemon's HP. Attacks that are evaded, blocked via Protect, or damage a Substitute are not considered direct damage. It will retain the typing and moveset of the Pokemon with Illusion.

Excalibur [Aegislash] (♂)
Caliber served under a certain king some centuries ago. How long or who for is still unknown. The king's divine Aegislash produced offspring that would be passed down to His Majesty's highest officers; one such offspring was the lowly Excalibur. Though Caliber cannot remember quite yet, Excalibur was his first Pokemon partner in war, and was the same Pokemon that waited hundreds of years for his master to be resurrected. Though somewhat hesitant to action, Excalibur's attention to detail, in both leadership and battle, is top-notch.

As war in Kalos escalated, human forces were proving not enough. When the enemy began to use Pokemon in their armies, Kalos had to fight back; in the rank and file of their Pokemon forces were Pawniard, and, more rarely, Bisharp. Centuries later, Lancelot was once a lowly Pawniard with no future other than roaming the streets and getting into fights. Caliber saw the vision in the Pawniard's eyes; its desire to live freely without needless violence. Seeing the honor in the small Pokemon, Caliber gathered it for his mission. Lancelot soon grew to be a noble Bisharp who only fights when bound by honor.

Shieldon and Bastiodon are solitary creatures. Back in ancient times when they roamed the world, they lived very long lives due to their sheer longevity and sturdiness. An Armor Fossil was one of the heirlooms passed down in Caliber's house; centuries after his death, he was able to reclaim it, and Hector was born. Quiet, immovable, and incredibly wise, Hector is the cornerstone of a suitable castle.

Very few know of the shadows of Caliber's past. Even Excalibur, his first Pokemon partner, doesn't know the details of his master's death. Little does Caliber know that a shadow of trickery had been present at the time of his death, and had been following him ever since his resurrection. With ghastly giggling and temptation, she was able to work her way into Caliber's forces. Her true intentions are still unknown.

Pokemon like Magnemite didn't exist back in Caliber's time, so one could only imagine his surprise at finding a floating Electric-type Pokemon. Caliber named the captured Magnemite Merlin, after a powerful wizard of legend. After all, how else could a Pokemon defy gravity without wings or ghostly powers? Three of them stuck together perplexed Caliber even more. Magnets sure work in mysterious ways!

The armies of Kalos had a secret weapon to counter the enemy's ground forces; massive Onix and Steelix siege forces. Once they were deployed, enemy fortifications were destroyed one by one, until they retaliated with burrowers of their own. Few Onix survived the war, but they did more than survive: they evolved. Ouroboros has lived all these centuries, and has seen cities rise and fall, and people live and die. He approached Caliber when the time was right, seeing the ghostly pain he was in.

Oberon [Metagross] (N)
Caliber found Oberon amidst the wreckage of an abandoned laboratory. Why anyone would leave such a rare Pokemon to die in the dust, he didn't know. Oberon's shiny coloring isn't entirely a blessing, though; there are defects in its mental processors that prevent it from being as smart as it could be. Oberon still stands firm despite that, and is a wise and humble member of the team.

In the dark ages of Kalos, Ferroseed and Ferrothorn were used as brutal weapons of torture, giving them a bad reputation in the rural parts of the region due to the terrible legends associated with them. Star is, unlike the Ferrothorn of days past, incredibly passive, but also willing to stand up to anything. She's excellent at standing her ground, and won't budge even from the most heated of attacks.

Lagann was not captured by Caliber, but instead by his long-lost descendant and heir, Cassandra, who lets him use the tricky little Drilbur on his Steel team. Lagann is smaller than the average Excadrill, and while some would see this as a detriment, he abuses it to maximize his maneuverability underground. His high speed and quick thinking compliment the power of his drill, which can pierce any enemy.
