Pet Mod [Gen 8] Crossover Chaos

Approved by Ludicrousity

Crossover Chaos

Basic premise of Crossover Chaos is to turn characters from other video game franchises into Pokemon. Many other franchises such as Soul Calibur, Mario Kart, Sonic the Hedgehog, and of course Super Smash Brothers have had cameos from other franchises to either promote a series or create a crossover title.

For non-video game crossovers, check here.

Submissions
Each slate you have the opportunity to turn up to five of your favourite video game characters into Pokemon (check the Winning Crossovers tab below to make sure your character has not won before). Feel free to resubmit your character in a following slate if they did not win.

You will need to create a suitable Type, Ability, and Moves for these characters. To keep things interesting, each character can have a new signature move, new signature ability, and/or new G-Max move. Be sure to explain what your new signature move or ability does. Keep in mind of the abilities and affinities that the characters have in their original games and series.

Moves such as Rest, Protect and Substitute that are considered 'universal' are automatically including in all submissions unless otherwise stated, so there is no need to mention them except for flavour reasoning. Same goes for 'minor' moves such as Water Gun, Ember or Confusion. Those moves are implied along with notable moves such as Surf, Fire Blast or Psychic.

As a guide, keep your submissions as powerful relative to their own universe. A regular enemy should have average stats, protagonists should have stats similar to OU Pokemon and god-like characters should be limited to cover legendary BST.

Pokémon: [Name of character]
Franchise/Origin:
Type:
Regional Variation:
(Optional)
Ability:
Notable moves:
Signature move:
G-Max Move, Z-Move, Mega Evolution, etc.:
(Optional)
Stats: HP/Atk/Def/SpA/SpD/Spe

Reasoning: Explain the reasoning for the character's type, ability and moves. Include a description of signature move or ability such as origin and lore. Feel free to be as creative and include as much detail as you want.
Pokémon: Pikachu
Franchise/Origin: Pokemon
Typing: Electric
Ability: Lightning Rod (Raises Special attack by one stage when attacked by an Electric type move)
Moves: Volt Tackle, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Fake Out, Extremespeed, Surf, Knock Off, Grass Knot
Signature Move: Volt Tackle (120 BP | Electric | 100% Accuracy | deals 30% recoil damage and has a 10% chance to paralyse target)
Z Move: 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt (210 BP | Electric | Physical | Increased crit ratio of +2 | must know Thunderbolt)
Stats: 35/55/40/50/50/90

Reasoning: Being an electric mouse, it makes sense that Pikachu is an Electric type. It's ability to conduct lightning allows it to have the ability Lightning Rod. It's new signature move, Volt Tackle, comes from the immense electrical charge Pikachu covers itself in when it charges at its opponents. Volt Tackle has 120 BP, has 10% chance to paralyse, and deals 1/3 recoil damage. Having a strong affinity to electricity, Pikachu learns a range of Electric-type moves such as Volt Switch and Thunderbolt. Pikachu also enjoys a range of activities such as surfing allowing it to learn Surf.

Voting
Vote for your three favourite submissions by others in a 3-2-1 format (positional voting).
You can only include one of your own submissions but it cannot be your top vote.
Late votes do not count.

Bonus Theme
Every odd slate there will be a bonus theme.
Any submission that fits the theme will get a a bonus vote at the end of the slate.
Please show that your submission matches the bonus theme like so:
**Pikachu**
For the other slates (called Anything Goes), any character can be submitted.

Item Side-Slates
Every second Anything Goes slate will have an item side slate where you can submit an item from another video game franchise.
Keep in mind that items in Pokemon tend to have passive effects rather than be weapons.
Also try ensure your items have a similar viability of those already used in Pokemon.

Have fun!

Changes from Gen VII
National Dex: All winning crossovers from the Gen VII thread carry over to this Pet Mod as a part of the 'National Dex'. Please check the National Dex tab under the Winning Crossovers post to ensure a character has not been submitted before. Of course, being a new Generation means new people may want to submit popular characters who have a crossover from the last gen. Regional forms and variations are allowed such as submitting Young Link instead of Link or Boom Sonic instead of Classic Sonic. Please check the National Dex tab under Winning Crossovers.

Welcome to the first slate of Crossover Chaos for Generation VIII. Before submitting a character for this Pet Mod, please read the above posts to familiarise yourself with guidelines for this thread.

This slate's bonus theme is the loudest addition to this generation, Team Yell. Team Yell are a fan group that support Marnie on her journey to become the Galar region champion. They are known for being obsessive, obstructive and above all else, L O U D. If your submission has any of these characteristics don't forget to show it by adding ** such as **Pikachu**.

As always: Have fun!

Work!
Pokémon: Waluigi
Franchise/Origin: Mario
Type: Poison/Psychic
Ability: Rattled / Psychic Surge | Merciless
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Acid, Gastro Acid, Psychic, Zen Headbutt, Psycho Cut, Parting Shot, Swords Dance, Agility, Confusion, Dream Eater, Future Sight, Gravity, Guard Split, Guard Swap, Heal Block, Hypnosis, Imprison, Mirror Coat, Power Split, Power Swap, Power Trick, Psybeam, Psychic Fangs, Speed Swap, Skill Swap, Teleport, Trick, Trick Room, Wonder Room, Magic Room, Baneful Bunker, Belch, Clear Smog, Gunk Shot, Sludge, Toxic Spikes, Toxic Thread, Venoshock, Venom Drench, Beat Up, Darkest Lariat, Fake Tears, Foul Play, Topsy Turvy, Fling, Knock Off, Power Trip, Sucker Punch, Boomburst, Uproar
Signature move: The Wah! Psychic type. 120 BP. 90 acc. 10 PP. Sound move. The user shouts loud enough to break the sound barrier! They take some recoil damage due to how strenuous it is. (Special Double Edge variant)
G-Max Move: G-Max Ultra Mega Wah. Psychic type. The user, G-Max Waluigi, shouts as loud as they can! This results in setting an uproar for three turns.
Stats: 61 HP / 89 Atk / 37 Def / 141 SpA / 81 SpD / 113 Spe

Reasoning: Waluigi embraces the weird, and so has a unique and weird type combo to boot. Psychic Surge makes the battlefield “weird” so I wanted a Psychic type. Poison hasn’t been paired with Psychic yet and Waluigi is weird enough to pull it off. Went with an assortment of the usual Psychic and Poison offence moves, and paired with lots of “weird” support moves that just fit a character who’s motif is being bizarre. Finished with some dark moves because he’s a bad guy. Went with a prime number stat line to further emphasize how strange this character b is (like the UBs).

**Also Waluigi’s whole character is being loud and obnoxious so it’s totally fits to have him in this slate. Could probably be the leader of Team Yell tbh.

Pokémon: Waluigi
Waluigi is a part of the National Dex from last gen. Feel free to make your submission a regional variant (e.g: based on his appearance from Strikers, Mario and Sonic 2020 or anything to differentiate it from the original submission).

Did anyone say... loud?

Pokémon: **Ghast** (from Minecraft)
Type: Fire
Ability: Levitate
Stats: 70/125/60/90/60/80 (485)
Notable Moves: Pyro Ball, Fireball (see Bowser from last gen), Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Rock Blast, Fly, Phantom Force, Ice Shard, Life Dew, Will-o-Wisp
Reasoning: Did you know the Ghast's shrieks are actually cat sounds? I sure as hell can't tell. And speaking of hell, this right here is the Ghast - the Creeper may be the bomber of the overworld's lands, but the Ghast is the bomber of the hellish Nether's skies. Fire because it shoots fireballs, lives in a dimension full of lava, and can't be burned. While its lack of a Ghost type may seem strange, it isn't actually undead - in spite of its ghostlike name and appearance, it isn't affected by the Smite enchantment. Levitate, as well as the move Fly, are both because it floats around. Pyro Ball and Fireball are from its fireballs, of course. A quick note - I'm keeping Fireball around because of Pyro Ball's flavor being igniting a small stone rather than just making a ball of fire, which means it doesn't fit for everything that gets Fireball, but it does fit for Ghast, which does indeed do exactly that. Stone Edge, Rock Slide and Rock Blast because its fireballs appear to be made partially of stone and the identically-appearing Fire Charge can be made with coal. Ice Shard because the original texture for its fireballs was a snowball. While it's not actually undead, I still felt it was ghostlike enough to warrant Phantom Force. Life Dew is due to how its Ghast Tears can be used to make Potions of Regeneration. Will-o-Wisp is common on Fire-types and ghosts, so...

Passionate, obstructive, and loud? This sub may not radiate the same energy as Team Yell, but she does fit all those checkmarks!

SCREW IT!
WHY SHOULD I TELL THAT STORY
WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE!?!
NGAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Pokémon: **Undyne**
Type: Fighting/Water
Abilities: Justified / Battle Armor / Undying Determination (Undyne can survive any damage with 1HP, but her stats will be reset. If any of her teammates are unfainted, she will become immune to passive damage, but cannot heal either, will inflict Perish Song's and Taunt's effects on herself, and cannot switch out, even if via phazing or self-switching moves. Otherwise, she'll have halved defenses at all times without any unfainted teammates, but will forme-change into Undyne the Undying and recover all her HP upon "KO".)

New Move: SOUL Mode: Green (Fighting-Type Status move. 5PP, perfect accuracy. Traps the target. If successful, incoming moves have x0.75 power and the success rate of protection moves on the target halves with each consecutive use instead of dividing by 3. Using this move on a target with this status or switching out the user undoes it.)
Moves: Swords Dance, Liquidation, Close Combat, Superpower, Brick Break, Iron Defense, Waterfall, Spirit Break, Aqua Jet, Icicle Spear, Pin Missile, Spike Cannon, Fury Attack, Fell Stinger
Stats: 100/120/90/80/80/60 [BST 530]
Reasoning: Undyne's a fish person otaku hero revered by the Underworld that wields a spear, so Water/Fighting is an easy fit, plus Justified too. Stat spread because she relies on spears for combat. Of course, I gave her physical STABs, and in case you're wondering about Aqua Jet, SD Aqua Jet is downright terrifying. Spirit Break because Japanese name is Soul Crash and... Yeah, a force strong enough to damage the target's spirit/soul works well. Battle Armor because look at her, and Undying Determination because even in the neutral route, she'll still hang on for a few more turns after taking a fatal hit. Statline because her stats have a preference for offense over defense. Icicle Spear because spears and Ice coverage is extremely commonplace among Water types. The moves after also reflect attacking with spears. Finally Soul Mode Green is based on her signature SOUL transformation: You can’t flee (important on the neutral route), but to dodge attacks, you block them on one of four directions instead of moving about. Thus, x0.75 power on moves targeting Green SOULs. Also Fighting because the SOUL blocks incoming attacks via a spear that functions like a shield, and given Sirfetch’d, Zamazenta, and Falinks, well...

Type: Fighting/Water
Ability: Undying Determination (As Undyne the Undying, she becomes immune to Spirit Break. This ability cannot be suppressed, removed, nor copied. (yeah this part is situational but its main purpose is to transform base into this so))
Stats: 130/140/140/80/80/60 [BST 630]

Reasoning: After mustering up enough human willpower (emphasis on "human willpower"; DETERMINATION is extremely risky to use when implanted in monsters) to keep herself together and avenge everyone from the Ruins, from Snowdin, and from Waterfall, she gives herself massive stat buffs to stop you dead in your tracks. (and to buy time for alphys to evacuate everyone in hotland) Her statline is quite possibly the best in Undertale (excluding pacifist final boss), which is where a huge amount of the challenge in her fight stems from, and where her 140 physical stats come from. (Still uses spears in her fight and all of Undertale's weapons are physical) HP buff because she also has one of the highest HP values in the game, but mainly her huge Defense plays a huge role in that.
And, well... This guy tries to be obstructive... Emphasis on “tries” to be...

"Geh ha ha ha ha! Thoust FOOLS!"
Pokémon: Rouxls Kaard
Type: Fairy/Psychic
Ability: Run Away / Wimp Out / Defeatist
Moves: U-Turn, Taunt, Parting Shot, Substitute, Reflect, Light Screen, Teleport, Fling, Trick, Swagger, Work Up, Life Dew
New Item: Control Crown (Destroys itself and confuses the holder unless held by Rouxls Kaard)
Stats: 55/45/75/45/75/120 [BST 415]
Reasoning: Rouxls Kaard is just a wimp who sets up puzzles... Yet for all his ham, his puzzles suck ass and once starved fresh dry of puzzles, he sics an enemy you defeated before on you, same stats and everything, and after that surrenders to your group unceremoniously, all in hilarious, over-the-top fashion. Wimp Out and Defeatist because he turns tail once things go south, which is likely to happen in the blink of an eye with him. Fairy because he's a Darkner, an entity hinted at to be entirely fantasy, even in-universe, and if the sole Darkner on your team being the White Mage of the bunch is any indication, Darkners have a stronger connection to magic in general than Lightners do. Psychic due to floating and not even being animated on the overworld, plus the aforementioned connection with magic. He is not a Dark-type because he's too inept at villainy to warrant the Dark typing in the first place. (The Dark type is also known as the Evil type in Japan; Kaard isn't even close to the same extent of villainy that the King of Spades' sheer cruelty and Jevil's complete insanity have reached.)

Pokemon: Flame Hyenard (Megaman X7)
Type: Fire/Steel
Ability: Flame Body/Tough Claws
Signature Move: Tri Formation
- Type: Steel
- Classification: Status
- Accuracy: -
- PP: 10 (max 16)
- Effect: The user’s next physical or special attack hits three times, with the exception of multihit-moves, Dynamax moves, and Z-Moves.
Stats: 96/120/70/95/75/114
Notable Moveset: Flamethrower, Ember, Metal Claw, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Fire Punch, Beat Up, Night Slash, Hyper Voice, Uproar, Acrobatics, Brutal Swing, Double Team, Shadow Claw, Fling, Flame Burst, Incinerate, Fire Blast, Slash, Knock Off, Snarl, Taunt
Overview: Loud? Yeah, this guy fits the bill. Tri Formation references the clone technique of the same name.

Pokemon: **Zote the Mighty** (Hollow Knight)
Type: Bug
Ability: Klutz
Moves: Splash, Taunt, Life Ender
Stats: 30 / 35 / 30 / 20 / 35/ 50 | 200 BST

Pokemon: **Grey Prince Zote** (Hollow Knight)
Type: Bug/Psychic
Ability: Klutz
Moves: Body Slam, Zen Headbutt, Substitute, Explosion, Zen Headbutt, Flail, X-Scissor, Earthquake, Wood Hammer, Thrash, Taunt, Splash, Life Ender (Bug / 150 BP / 8 PP / 90% Accuracy / User must recharge after use.)
Stats: 100 / 150 / 85 / 80 / 85 / 100 | 600 BST
Reasoning: Zote the Mighty is the annoying bug you meet and save from death many times in your adventure through Hallownest. Although he boasts a lot, he is useless in battle and does no damage in any form in the fight against him at the end of a Coliseum trial. Because of this, he gets Splash and Klutz to show his total ineptitude for fighting, and Taunt because he is always insulting the player and bragging about his own made-up accomplishments. His dream form is much more powerful because it is the manifestation of what Bretta thinks of Zote. His attacks are still based on him being bad at fighting, but they result in huge shockwaves and annoying contact damage all the time. Bug/Psychic because he is still Zote, but a dream form. His moves are based on attacks he does in-game, and Life Ender is the name of his nail and based on an attack where he runs back and forth while flailing his sword in front of him. His stats are because he mainly uses physical nail attacks and shockwaves to fight, while still having a lot of health and moving around the field quickly when he's not lying on the ground after a failed attack.

Pokemon: *Cultist* (Slay the Spire)
Type: Dark
Ability: Ritual (Gain +1 Attack at the end of each turn)
Moves: Taunt, Sucker Punch, Night Slash, Foul Play, Roost, Brave Bird, Feather Dance, Peck, Pluck, Wing Attack, Chatter, Aerial Ace, Uproar, Hyper Voice, Defog
Stats: 56/95/75/60/75/99 (BST: 460)
Reasoning: Despite it's appearance, the Cultist is not actually a bird, but a person wearing a bird costume. Whenever you fight one, they constantly Taunt and yell their battle cry, CAW CAW! In fact, you can get the Cultist mask and wear it yourself, causing you to do the same CAW CAW! at the start of each battle. The first action a Cultist takes is to perform an Ritual, which causes the Cultist to gain strength at the end of each turn. It only uses one attack, called Dark Strike.

Pokémon: **Dungeon Guardian**
Franchise/Origin: Terraria
Type: Ghost
Ability: Magic Guard / Infiltrator / Cursed Body
Moves: Curse (ONLY Curse, nothing else)
Stats: 255/155/255/155/255/50 (1125)
Reasoning: There's no stronger "obsessive and obstructive" creature than the Dungeon Guardian. If it doesn't have its stats maxed, it ain't the Dungeon Guardian. To put things into perspective, its in-game Defense stat is 9999. In second place, the player can reach a maximum of 180, and below that, a few enemies are tied at 100. In Terraria, it'll always take only 1 damage (2 on critical hits) regardless of the weapon you use. Speaking of Defense, the player needs max Defense to not be immediately oneshot by the Guardian, and even then, it can only survive 2 hits at most. It is like this to prevent the player from entering the Dungeon before breaking its curse. Once the player summons it, the Dungeon Guardian will follow the player across the whole map, until one of them dies.
Why is Curse its only move, you ask? The Dungeon Guardian only exists because of the curse of the Old Man at the dungeon. By breaking the curse, the Dungeon Guardian stops existing. Curse is also its only move because I wanted to make it balanced. It gets Magic Guard for being immune to all Terraria statuses and Infiltrator for being able to go through any block. Gets Cursed Body for the same reason it gets Curse.
Also, just a reminder on how Curse mechanics work. If target is already cursed, the move fails and the user doesn't lose HP. Magic Guard doesn't block Curse dealing 1/2 max HP damage to the user.

What better thing to do than submit an obsessive Luigi’s Mansion 3 boss?

Pokemon: Hellen Gravely
Franchise/Origin: Luigi's Mansion 3
Type: Ghost
Ability: Levitate, Mirror*
Stats: 245/90/50/90/50/75 (600)
Moves: Trick, Surf, Block, Barrier, Mirror Bash**, Scary Face, Giga Impact, Shadow Ball, Invisible Laser***, Hex, Mirror Coat, Substitute, Taunt, Nasty Plot, Will-o-Wisp, etc.
Custom element:
Mirror, reflects light-based moves back at the user, is immune to such moves.
Mirror Bash, 120 BP, Physical, Ghost, 85% Acc, 16 PP, lowers the user’s speed by one stage, suppresses the Mirror ability for three turns, cannot use Mirror Coat during that time if it misses
Invisible Laser, 80 BP, Fire, Special, 32 PP, Next Pokemon that switches in loses 12.5% of its HP, multiplied by its weakness/resistance to Fire. Breaks after use.
Rationale: Base 245 HP, with 0 EVs or IVs totals to 600, her HP in the boss fight. And she's obsessed with King Boo, as seen when you get to the Master Suite. Ghost is self-explanatory, Levitate is because she floats when trying to hit you with her mirror, and Mirror is because of the mirror she carries during her boss fight. Trick is because Professor E. Gadd (and later Mario, Luigi, Peach and the three Toads at the beginning of the game) were tricked into coming to The Last Resort. Surf is because she occasionally floods some of the lower area where you use Gooigi to turn off the colored barriers. Speaking of which, the colored barriers are why she gets Block and Barrier. Mirror Bash and Giga Impact is because she tries to hit you with her mirror, and lowering speed and the loss of the Mirror ability and ability to use Mirror Coat is because it gets stuck in the ground if she misses. Invisible Laser is due to the invisible laser security system in the specific rooms of the Master Suite. Scary Face is because of her hag form when she gets angry. The rest of the moves are typical Ghost-type flavor moves and most moves Pokemon can learn as TMs.

Pokémon: **Kanji Tatsumi**
Franchise/Origin: Persona 4
Type: Electric/Fighting
Ability: Volt Absorb / Defiant / Galvanize
Moves: Spark, Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Discharge, Bolt Strike, Thunder Punch, Volt Tackle, Volt Switch, Hammer Arm, Close Combat, Body Press, Sacred Sword, Brutal Swing, Superpower, Submission, Sky Uppercut, Revenge, Arm Thrust, Double-Edge, Return, Recover, Swords Dance, Barrier, Agility, Double Team, Charm, Play Rough, Covet,
Stats: 110/120/110/95/50/70 (555)
Reasoning: The gay delinquent gang leader is here. Electric is a must due to it being the main element of his Personas, and Fighting for his brute nature. Volt Absorb for the ability to absorb damage from Electric skills in game (at least when he has Takeji Zaiten), Defiant for the deliquent thing, and Galvanize since he does get moves that are Electric in some game (like Q). His stats also reflect his role in-game: the main tank and physical powerhouse, while being at least able to do his own work with Electric Spells. Other moves are included to refer to his in-game moveset. He also got a few moves referring to his gayness, which is prevalent in his Shadow Self.

Pokémon: **Emz**
Franchise/Origin: Brawl Stars
Type:
poison.gif

Ability: Bad Karma / Hype
Effect: Metronome except instead of consecutive moves boosting it, consecutive hits increase the boost (e.g. Bullet Seed).
Also resets the boost each time a move is used (starts at 1x for every move).
Effect: Every time she successfully hits a Pokemon with an attack, she recovers 1/8th of her health. Multi-target moves like Sludge Wave heal Emz multiple times if she hits multiple enemies.
Moves: Spray, Acid Spray, Clear Smog, Gastro Acid, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Venom Drench, Venoshock, Encore, Follow Me, Glare, Hyper Voice, Lovely Kiss, Me First, Mean Look, Protect, Psych Up, Scary Face, Screech, Substitute, Swagger, Teeter Dance, Uproar, Aqua Ring, Bullet Seed, Leech Seed, Icicle Spear, Stomping Tantrum, Heal Block, Lunge, Pin Missile, Rock Blast, Beat Up, Flatter, Nasty Plot, Snarl, Sucker Punch, Switcheroo, Taunt, Torment, Charm, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Play Rough
Signature move: Spray
Type:
poison.gif

BP: 35
Acc.: 100
PP: 10 (max 16)
Effect: If the opponent moves first, Spray hits 2 times.
If Emz moves first, Spray hits 3 times.
If the opponent switches out, Spray hits 4 times before they switch out (e.g. Pursuit).
Stats: 108/64/72/132/84/88 (548 BST)

Reasoning: Emz's main weapon is her hair spray, which seems pretty poisonous to me. Emz's abilities are based on her star powers (wikia/fandom page). Her signature move's mechanics are based on Emz's attack pattern (she shoots out her attack and it lingers at the end); if you run through the attack towards her, you take less ticks of damage and if you run away from her attack, you take more ticks of damage. Her moves are based on her mechanics, personality, and to take advantage of her abilities.

Pokémon: Mr. TickTock
Franchise/Origin: Kirby
Type: Normal/Steel
Ability: Amplifier (Sound moves do 50% more damage)
Moves: Boom Burst, Metal Sound, Body Slam, Sing, Hyper Voice, Focus Blast, Iron Head, Volt Switch, Overdrive, Thunder Punch, Swift, Flash Cannon, Overheat, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Meteor Mash, Snarl, Parting Shot, Thrash, Iron Defense, Bad Tune*, Shell Smash, Iron Defense, Nasty Plot, Discharge, Shift Gear, Gear Grind, Play Rough

Bad Tune
Type:
Steel (Physical)
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
Effect: Deals damage sound based and lowers the target's defense 1 stage.
Stats: 80/120/60/109/100/81

Reasoning: This Kiryby miniboss provides the pink puffball the microphone powerup, which gives Kirby 3 uses of full screen hitting eardrum assaults so bad it can kill enemies in 1 hit. His signature move creates an almost wave of painful music, which causes strong damage. In fact this whole getup is about abusing sound moves and a bit about having mechanical stuff and its ability to break, being a walking alarm clock and all. He does have a few fist, punch and contact moves to go with the musicality. He's frail being a beast killed in roughly 3 attacks in Kirby games.

Sorry for the delay getting the voting started. Anyway you have until next weekend (hopefully) to get your votes in.

Undyne the Undying
