Trainer Name:
Mowtom
Though he bears a resemblance to a certain trainer from Johto, Mowtom hails from the Old Chateau in Sinnoh. His first Pokemon was a Rotom who inhabited a lawn mower, combining his two favorite types. One day, upon returning to the Old Chateau, the Rotom had vanished. Mowtom took it upon himself to travel around the world to find his friend, going so far as to change his name. He eventually stumbled upon the region of Smogon, where he resides to this day.

Mowtom's story didn't end there, though...

Trainer Name:
Bianca
Bianca is a very enthusiastic girl who first met Mowtom after he won his first gym badge. She dragged him into a conflict with Team Galactic, and he used his Pokemon to help her out. She is now a trainer in her own right, and has her own Pokemon that answer to her and not Mowtom.

The First Few

This is where the first dozen of Mowtom's Pokemon, who span all eighteen types with no repetition, reside. Given that they are his first experience with each type, Mowtom has a special bond with each of them. This shows in that many of the Pokemon in this section are among his best-trained.

Reuniclus [Bubble] (F)

Mowtom found Bubble while traveling in the Unova region. Her mother belonged to Catlin of the Elite Four, but Bubble wanted to see the world. She did inherit one thing from her mother's trainer, however. Bubble enjoys battling, but she can have trouble staying awake, even during a battle.

Type: Psychic
  • Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Abilities: Overcoat / Magic Guard / Regenerator (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. The Pokemon is also immune to "Powder" moves. (Full List: Cotton Spore, Poison Powder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore.) If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather, or powder attacks by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1).
  • This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, Burn, and Partial Trapping moves. It can still attack itself in confusion, and will still take damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is negated.
  • When this Pokemon is switched out during a switch battle, it reacts to the energy in the Pokeball and (ten) 10 HP is restored. When this Pokemon Chills, it restores six (6) HP in addition to its 12 Energy.

Infernape [George] (M)

Mowtom found George after the latter had fallen out of a Tropius in an attempt to steal some bananas. He rushed him to the Pokemon Center, which happened to have a supply of both bananas and bandages for George. George was so thankful to Mowtom that he agreed to travel with him.

Gastrodon [Sluggy Slug] (F)

Like Mowtom himself, Sluggy Slug comes from Sinnoh, but from the opposite side of Mount Coronet. She prefers to stay relaxed and cheerful, even when taking repeated hits, but cannot stand it when someone mistakes her for a West Sea Gastrodon. Apparently the two groups have a long-seated rivalry. Who knew?

Type: Water / Ground
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
  • Ground STAB; immune to Sandstorm. Ignores Arena restrictions on Dig and Seismic Attacks for Arenas in which any land mass exists, Evasive Digging reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
Abilities: Sticky Hold / Storm Drain / Sand Force (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's body is covered in a sticky substance that prevents item theft or swapping.
  • This Pokemon lures all water attacks to itself, altering their course away from partner Pokemon. It absorbs the water and increases its Special Attack by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round.
  • This Pokemon thrives in Sandstorm conditions, using the power of the swirling sand to augment its Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-typed attacks. Each of this Pokemon's Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-typed attacks will have the Base Attack Power increased by two (2). Pokemon with this ability are immune to Sandstorm damage.

Snorlax [Om Nom] (M)

Om Nom comes from a strange land, where creatures live in boxes and wait for candy to be delivered to their mouths. When Mowtom visited, he got very good at cutting the ropes needed to deliver candy to Om Nom, who decided to tag along with him in secret when Mowtom left. Obviously, he was a Munchlax at the time, and has since changed drastically.

Type: Normal
  • Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Abilities: Immunity / Thick Fat / Gluttony (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's body has an immensely strong immune response to venom and does not take poison damage when Poisoned. Toxic Poisoning will not do damage; however, it will continue to grow more severe.
  • This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire- and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
  • This Pokemon devours healing and stat increasing berries at 50% health (flat) instead of 25% health (flat). It also regains three (3) HP per action when holding Leftovers.

Togekiss [Joy] (F)

Mowtom first found Joy as an Egg left in a Pokemon Center by an unknown person. He took the Egg with him at the nurse's insistence. When she hatched, Joy was given that name for two reasons: to honor the nurse who gave Mowtom the Egg, and because she is always overflowing with, well, joy.

Type: Fairy / Flying
  • Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
  • Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.
Abilities: Hustle / Serene Grace / Super Luck (Unlocked)
  • At default this Pokemon puts immense force and speed into its physical attacks, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by three (3), but the haste used lowers their accuracy to 80% of normal. When toggled, no effect.
  • This Pokemon has a blessing which doubles the success chance of its attack's secondary effects. (eg paralysis from Thunderbolt)
  • This Pokemon's natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 50% of the time.

Bump II is a descendant of a well-known Swalot from the Kanto region. When Mowtom visited there, a strange Kabutops that was part Steel offered Bump II to Mowtom as a companion. Mowtom, always happy to gain a new team member, gratefully accepted, and was never disappointed with his choice.

Escavalier [Kent] (M)

Type: Bug / Steel
  • Bug STAB; Adds an additional guaranteed attack on all multi-hit moves (does not include two hit moves) with a total hit cap of five (5).
  • Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
Abilities: Swarm / Shell Armor / Overcoat (Unlocked)

  • This Pokemon's thick, bony outer shell prevents it from taking critical hits.

Ampharos [Deckard] (M)

Deckard found Mowtom in a bookstore, when Mowtom tried to buy Deckard's favorite book, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. When Mowtom explained that he had always wanted to read it but was never able to, Deckard agreed to let him take it, but only if Mowtom would let Deckard travel with him so that the book would be well-looked after.

Type: Electric
  • Electric STAB; immune to paralysis status.
Abilities: Static / Plus (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's body is surrounded by an electric field that has a 30% chance of paralyzing opponents that use contact moves on this Pokemon.
  • This Pokemon possesses a positive electrical charge. When a partner Pokemon with Plus or Minus is on the field or if this Pokemon has Minus, this Pokemon's special attacks have their Base Attack Power increased by two (2). Mega Ampharos [Deckard] (M)

After a very close 13v13, Mowtom was walking home with Deckard next to him. Suddenly, Deckard stopped to pick up a stone from the ground. As he did so, an incredible transformation occurred. Deckard then refused to move a muscle before he finished considering what this means for the world.

Type: Electric / Dragon
  • Electric STAB; immune to paralysis status.
  • Dragon STAB; -1 BAP on incoming neutral attacks Dragon itself would resist (e.g. -1 BAP on Aqua Jet against Garchomp.) Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Abilities: Static / Plus (Unlocked) / Mold Breaker (Mega)
  • This Pokemon's body is surrounded by an electric field that has a 30% chance of paralyzing opponents that use contact moves on this Pokemon.

If this Pokemon has both Plus and Minus, the boosts stack to a maximum Base Attack Power increase of four (4).
  • Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities. (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, etc.) Attacks are still redirected by Lightningrod/Storm Drain, but damage is dealt normally. Tangrowth [Mystery] (F)

Very little is known about Mystery's past. Even less is known about what her face really looks like, behind those vines. She almost always speaks in a whisper, when she speaks at all. One thing is certain though: Whatever she did and wherever she went before joining Mowtom, her life after joining him was much more enjoyable.

Type: Grass
  • Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed, Worry Seed, and all "Powder" based attacks (Poisonpowder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore). Unable to have Petal Dance disrupted by oncoming damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Grass attacks requiring an external grass source. Bloom Command.
    • Bloom Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's "Grass," "Powder," and "Seed" status-moves will have fifteen (15) added points to their Base Accuracy (e.g. Grass Whistle goes from 55 Base Acc to 70 Base Acc). Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
Abilities: Chlorophyll / Leaf Guard / Regenerator (Unlocked)
  • During bright sunlight, this Pokemon's cells absorb more solar energy, doubling (x2) their speed.
  • In bright sunlight, the Pokemon is surrounded by a faint green glow. The glow protects it from all permanent and temporary status conditions.
  • When this Pokemon is switched out during a switch battle, it reacts to the energy in the Pokeball and (ten) 10 HP is restored. When this Pokemon Chills, it restores six (6) HP in addition to its 12 Energy.

Froslass [Harley] (F)

Harley can best be described in two words: practical joker. She takes any opportunity to mess with people and Pokemon that she can get. Mowtom met her when she was trying to get a Sableye to teach her Prankster. Once Mowtom explained the difference between moves and abilities, Harley gave up on that dream and joined Mowtom instead.

Type: Ice / Ghost
  • Ice STAB; immune to Hail damage, freeze status, and Sheer Cold. Frost Command.
    • Frost Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's Ice moves will have triple the freeze chance. Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
  • Ghost STAB; immune to the effects of full trapping moves and the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, and Shadow Tag abilities. Ghost types can switch out while affected by a partial trapping move, but they will be damaged every action by their effect.
Abilities: Snow Cloak / Cursed Body (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon is used to snowy blizzard conditions and gains a 20% evasion boost during Hail. Pokemon with this ability are immune to Hail damage.
  • When this Pokemon is struck by an opponent's attack, there is a 30% chance that the attack will be disabled for six (6) actions. Only one of the opponent's attacks can be disabled at a time due to Cursed Body. A Pokemon with an attack disabled by Cursed Body cannot have another one disabled by Disable, and vice versa.

Stratagem [Pebbles] (-)

When Mowtom came across Pebbles playing with a young Mollux, he was shocked to discover that neither species was in his Pokedex. The Mollux ran away before Mowtom could observe it, but Pebbles was just as interested in Mowtom as Mowtom was in it. A partnership quickly formed between them.

Type: Rock
  • Rock STAB; Adds an additional level of Priority (+0 to +1, +3 to +4 etc.) on naturally occurring level-up, egg, tutor, or TM attacks that increase only defense, special defense, or prevent damage (Full list: Acid Armor, Amnesia, Barrier, Defense Curl, Detect, Quick Guard, Harden, Iron Defense, Light Screen, Reflect, Skull Bash, Stockpile, Wide Guard, Withdraw). Reduced damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm, immune to Sandstorm damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Rock attacks requiring an external rock source.
Abilities: Levitate / Technician / Mold Breaker (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit.
  • This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack that has its BAP increased by Technician is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.
Absol [Oracle] (F)

One day, Mowtom was traveling in an old warehouse, hoping a clue to lead him to his namesake would be there. While Mowtom was inspecting a refrigerator, Oracle appeared and charged into Mowtom, pushing him away. The refrigerator fell down about 5 seconds later. Oracle chose to follow Mowtom around to try to prevent further danger, be it physical or, as Pebbles suggested, falling in love with Hermione Granger.

Type: Dark
  • Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.
Abilities: Pressure / Super Luck / Justified (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's presence fills the air with intense anxiety, and any damaging or status attack launched at this Pokemon costs the opposing Pokemon two (2) more energy to perform.
  • This Pokemon's natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 50% of the time.
  • This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokémon's attack will increase one (1) stage. A boost gained this way will be maintained at the end of each round.

It's a good thing that she did, because had she not lept in front of him, Mowtom would have tripped over a small marble. Oracle grabbed the marble, and experienced a transformation!

The Second Set

This section contains the second dozen of Mowtom's Pokemon (in the order they were caught, not the order he had access to them in all battles). They were selected to be trained based on either being very strong overall or filling a specific but important niche.

Mollux [Snail] (M)

Despite what you may think, Snail is not the Mollux Pebbles knew. He is her brother. When his sister reported the redheaded trainer who seemed to have no idea what a Mollux or a Rebble was, Snail went to investigate. He was quickly captured by Mowtom, without much complaint from either of them.

Type: Fire / Poison
  • Fire STAB; immune to burn status. Brighten Command.
    • Brighten Command: For the next six (6) actions, all this Pokemon's attacks will have their accuracy increased by one stage. Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
  • Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic status. Absorb Toxic Spikes on switch-in unless Flying-typed or using the ability Levitate. -- Accuracy when using Toxic, Poison Gas, or Poison Powder, hitting even during Dig, Fly, etc. Ignore Fog's accuracy reduction. Store Command.

      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
Abilities: Dry Skin / Illuminate (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon has spongy, yet sensitive skin, causing it to burn in bright sunlight for damage but absorb water and heal damaged tissues in rain. This effect results in dealing two (2) damage/action to this Pokemon in sunlight and recovering two (2) HP/action in rain. In addition, the dry skin is very vulnerable to flames and the Base Attack Power of incoming Fire attacks is increased by two (2). The Pokemon absorbs the damage of water attacks and recovers 25% of HP the damage that would have been inflicted.
  • At default this Pokemon emits a continuous light that brightens the environment and makes it easier for all Pokemon to see. While this ability is active, any darkened or twilight state in the battle is negated and all moves used by any Pokemon (friend or foe, or itself) have their accuracy increased by 10% (flat). Boosts from multiple Illuminates do not stack. When toggled, no effect.

Delcatty [Nepeta] (F)

One doomed Nepeta happened to be a post-entry prototyping in a sprite whose pre-entry prototyping was an albino cat. In the new universe her players created, she was set free and wandered about for many months. She eventually met Mowtom, and he couldn't believe the cuteness that was right in front of him.

Type: Normal
  • Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Abilities: Cute Charm / Normalize / Wonder Skin (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's natural cuteness causes Pokemon of the opposite gender to be attracted to it 30% of the time after striking with a contact move.
  • By default, this Pokemon has mastered Normal-type attacks and can change any attack type to have a Normal energy signature. The Pokemon's Normal-type attacks will have four (4) more Base Attack Power. Its other attacks will change their typing to Normal, retain status-inducing and other properties, and not receive the Base Attack Power boost from this ability. When toggled, there is no effect.
  • The Pokemon's skin has an agent that heavily resists attempts to change its composition. It changes the accuracy of all non-damaging attacks to 50% before applying any other modifiers.

Salamence [Gadzooks] (M)

Gadzooks only speaks in hrrrs, making him incredibly difficult to understand. Fortunately, he never goes anywhere without his notepad and pencil. Unfortunately, being made out of hardened clay, neither of them can actually be used for writing.

Type: Dragon / Flying
  • Dragon STAB; -1 BAP on incoming neutral attacks Dragon itself would resist (e.g. -1 BAP on Aqua Jet against Garchomp.) Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Abilities: Intimidate / Moxie (Unlocked)
  • When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage and their Natural Attack stage by one (1). If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents.
    • Command: Activate Intimidate - 5 En - Lowers all foes' Attack and Natural Attack by one (1) stage. Only usable if a foe entered play this round.
  • This Pokemon gets psyched after it earns a KO on an opposing Pokemon, increasing its Attack and its Natural Attack by one (1) stage.

Mega Salamence [Gadzooks] (M)

While selling his excess Berries in the market, a shady dealer approached Mowtom, offering him a magic stone that can make a Salamence more powerful. Mowtom was skeptical, but Oracle told him it was a good buy. When Mowtom presented the stone to Gadzooks, the latter transformed and then hrrred in delight.

  • Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon.
  • By default, this Pokemon's Normal-type moves are Flying-type moves, and have an additional two (2) BAP boost. When toggled, this Pokemon's Normal-type attacks have their BAP increased by two (2). Only Normal-typed moves changed by Aerilate receive this boost, and not all Flying-type moves. If a Pokemon has been skill-swapped multiple abilities that change Normal-type attacks, the attacks become dual-typed, but the BAP boosts of the abilities do not stack.

Nidoking [Pink] (M)

Pink seems to have some powers over reality. Mowtom has never really been clear on what the nature of those powers is, how they work, or why Pink isn't a Psychic-type. Pink has never answered these questions, mostly because he thrives on being as annoying to as many people as possible. He does react strangely to the name "Charlie" though.

Type: Poison / Ground
  • Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic status. Absorb Toxic Spikes on switch-in unless Flying-typed or using the ability Levitate. -- Accuracy when using Toxic, Poison Gas, or Poison Powder, hitting even during Dig, Fly, etc. Ignore Fog's accuracy reduction. Store Command.
    • Store Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's moves will have their poison / toxic effect chance double. Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
  • Ground STAB; immune to Sandstorm. Ignores Arena restrictions on Dig and Seismic Attacks for Arenas in which any land mass exists, Evasive Digging reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
Abilities: Poison Point / Rivalry / Sheer Force (Unlocked)
  • By default, this Pokemon's spikes/quills/thorns are coated in poison, and there is a 30% chance of poisoning any foe that uses a contact attack on this Pokemon. When toggled, this Pokemon's natural toxins are more potent. As a result, all of this Pokemon's attacks that inflict regular poison will inflict Toxic poison instead (with the same chance of effect). If Poison Point is toggled and Poison Touch is on its default effect, the Pokemon's contact attacks will inflict Toxic Poison.
  • This Pokemon has a primal response to competition and mating, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its attacks by two (2) when it attacks an opponent of the same gender, and decreasing the power of all its attacks by two (2) when it attacks an opponent of the opposite gender.
  • At default this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.

Mr. Mime [Gamzee] (M)

Don't even ask how Gamzee managed to follow Nepeta into this universe, why he did so, or how he became a Pokemon. Don't try to figure out what it means for clown immortality if he faints over and over again. Most of all, don't point out that he is now a mime, not a clown. He became stoned on Oran Berries when he got here, and I don't want anything changing that. Welp. It happened. God save us all.

Type: Psychic / Fairy
  • Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
  • Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
Abilities: Soundproof / Filter / Technician (Unlocked)
  • Pokemon with this ability emit their own powerful electrostatic or sound-dampening field, making them immune to sound-based moves other than an ally's or their own Heal Bell. (Known sound moves: Boomburst, Bug Buzz, Chatter, Disarming Voice, Echoed Voice, Grass Whistle, Growl, Heal Bell, Hyper Voice, Metal Sound, Perish Song, Relic Song, Roar, Round, Screech, Sing, Snarl, Snore, Supersonic, Uproar.)
  • This Pokemon has a special energy barrier that reduces the Base Attack Power of any opponent's super effective attack by two (2).

So they could stay friends, Trickster joined Mowtom on his journey and gave back his items.

Type: Dark / Ice
  • Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.
Abilities: Pressure / Pickpocket (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's presence fills the air with intense anxiety, and any damaging or status attack launched at this Pokemon costs the opposing Pokemon two (2) more energy to perform.
  • This Pokemon's mischievous nature and greed make it very effective at pawning off an opponents item. If this Pokemon has no item and either it or the opposing Pokemon strikes with a contact attack, their item is stolen and becomes the held item of this Pokemon.

Conkeldurr [Sos] (M)

Sos has always loved the Battle Circle trilogy. He think the idea of fighting with honor in a circle to the surrender is the epitome of life. When Mowtom found him, he sent George in to fight. The result? Sos is unquestionably loyal to the other Fighting-type. He would even disobey Mowtom if George told him to.

Type: Fighting
  • Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw.
Abilities: Guts / Sheer Force / Iron Fist (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
  • At default this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). Type: Grass / Ground
Krilowatt [Jumbo] (M)

Despite his name, Jumbo was always small for his species. He does not appreciate the irony, or the sneaking suspicion that he was named after a food. This has caused him to be grumpy almost always, except to Mowtom, who stopped a group of other water-types from bullying him based on his name.

Type: Water / Electric
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
  • Electric STAB; immune to paralysis status.
Abilities: Trace / Magic Guard / Shell Armor (Unlocked)
  • When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. When facing a pokemon with Trace, the Player sending out last must send out the pokemon without orders, in order to give the opponent the opportunity to trigger trace and any orders eventually given will be ignored until given the opportunity for trace to be triggered. The ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions. Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.
    • Command: Activate Trace (target ability) - 5 En - Replace Trace with the target Ability for six (6) actions. When the copied ability fades, the user regains Trace.
  • This Pokemon's thick, bony outer shell prevents it from taking critical hits.

Metagross [Daneel] (-)

When Mowtom traveled into the depths of Mysterious Cove, Daneel was one of the Pokemon that stood in his way. Recognizing the power Daneel was capable of wielding, Mowtom took on a secondary goal of adding the robot to his team and succeeded.

Type: Steel / Psychic
  • Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
  • Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Abilities: Clear Body / Light Metal (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's body structure makes it immune to stat-lowering moves used by opponents. (e.g. Intimidate, Growl, Screech etc.)
  • The Pokemon's body is made of a lightweight but extremely strong alloy. It weighs half as much as other members of the species, but is equally sturdy. The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Light Metal assumes the maximum possible hits from a multi-hit move for the purposes of priority (e.g. Double Kick gets priority as it reaches 6 BAP, Bullet Seed does not get priority as it reaches 15 BAP).

Mega Metagross [Daneel] (-)

After an extremely long 13v13, Mowtom swore he would never participate in one of those again. Daneel, who had gained enough experience in that battle to evolve, was visibly saddened. Mowtom made it up to him by spending almost all of his remaining money on Daneel's personal Mega Stone.

Tyrantrum [Jurassic] (F)

Scientists revived Jurassic from a fossil. She didn't like being cooped up in a lab, so she escaped. Mowtom saw her running from them in fear and gave her comfort, safety, food, and a spot on his team. In return, she fights for him when he asks her to (which is fairly frequently, considering her strength).

Type: Rock / Dragon
  • Dragon STAB; -1 BAP on incoming neutral attacks Dragon itself would resist (e.g. -1 BAP on Aqua Jet against Garchomp.) Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Abilities: Strong Jaw / Rock Head (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's massive jaws give it incredibly powerful biting attacks, increasing the BAP of all biting attacks by three (3) BAP. Full List: Bite, Bug Bite, Crunch, Fire Fang, Hyper Fang, Ice Fang, Poison Fang, Thunder Fang.

Revenankh [Mummy] (M)

Mummy comes from Egypt. He only speaks Egyptian. Though he seemed very happy to travel with Mowtom, nobody ever has any idea what he's trying to say. Not even those with psychic or near-psychic powers.

Type: Ghost / Fighting
  • Ghost STAB; immune to the effects of full trapping moves and the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, and Shadow Tag abilities. Ghost types can switch out while affected by a partial trapping move, but they will be damaged every action by their effect.
  • Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw.
Abilities: Shed Skin / Air Lock / Infiltrator (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon regularly sheds its skin and any impurities contained in its body. If afflicted with a status condition, this Pokemon has a 33% chance of removing all status conditions at the end of a round.
  • This Pokemon releases immense barometric pressure, clearing the weather in the arena and preventing the effect of weather moves and abilities from taking place.

The Third Threats

These are the third dozen of Mowtom's Pokemon. While some of them are very common to see a trainer own, many of these Pokemon were chosen for their uniqueness and to prove that they can, in fact, be good in battle. Essentially, they are a mix of common and underestimated.

Volcarona [Sun] (F)

Like Joy, Sun hatched out of one of Mowtom's Eggs. When she hatched, Sun's first sight was the sun at high noon. She...imprinted on it. It creeps everyone out when she acts like the sun tells her what to do (which is pretty much always). It creeps them out even more when she calls it "Mommy." Or, now that she's evolved, "Mom."

Type: Bug / Fire
  • Bug STAB; Adds an additional guaranteed attack on all multi-hit moves (does not include two hit moves) with a total hit cap of five (5).
Abilities: Flame Body / Swarm (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's external temperature is kept at such a high level that any contact attack used on this Pokemon has a 30% chance of burning the opponent.
  • When this Pokemon's HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any Bug-typed attack is increased by 2. (eg Silver Wind goes from 6 to 8, X-Scissor from 8 to 10)

Clawitzer [Dory] (F)

Dory is very forgetful. She would forget her big claw if it weren't attached to her body. It's quite endearing though. Before she was captured by Mowtom, Dory lived near the EHC (East Hoennese Current), and everybody loved spending time with her. Especially one particular Tentacool, who she would call "Squishy."

Type: Water
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
Ability: Mega Launcher
  • This Pokemon has impressive launching power built into its physiology, and all of its Aura and Pulse attacks have their BAP increased by three (3). Full List: Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Water Pulse. This Pokemon's Heal Pulse will also heal five (5) more HP.

Necturna [Groot] (F)

Groot is Groot. Everyone knows this. Or rather, everyone knows that Groot wants to be Groot. Unfortunately for her, she is both the wrong gender and the wrong species. This...hasn't stopped Groot from screaming her name loudly. For all to hear. All the time. ALL. THE. TIME. *eye twitch*

Type: Grass / Ghost
  • Ghost STAB; immune to the effects of full trapping moves and the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, and Shadow Tag abilities. Ghost types can switch out while affected by a partial trapping move, but they will be damaged every action by their effect.
Abilities: Forewarn / Telepathy (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon is more adept than usual at sensing and reacting to the opponent's attacks. As a result, it gets a bonus move substitution that must have a condition in the format "If Pokemon X uses move Y", with no further qualifiers or additional clauses allowed. This bonus substitution may go anywhere in the list of substitutions the Pokemon makes, but it must be indicated with "Bonus" or "Bonus Sub" or something similar in front of the bonus substitution.
  • This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponent's spread damage attacks.

Kecleon [Renald] (M)

Renald is a great musician. You name the instrument, he can play it. He's been invited to perform in the Pokeharmonic Orchestra, but declined so he could spend more time pursuing other interests. His best friend, Renald, and his children, Raymond, Raymond, and Raymond, were all very supportive of his decision. His true dream, though, is to be a tour guide.

Type: Normal
  • Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Abilities: Color Change / Protean (Unlocked)
  • A Pokemon with this ability can change its type to that of any attack that has damaged it within the past three (3) actions. It can remain as that type for the duration of the battle, or use Color Change again to change type. When Kecleon uses Camouflage to change its type, its entire body changes color, giving it a one (1) stage boost in evasion. This effect lasts for six (6) actions. Subsequent uses of Camouflage refresh this effect.
    • Command: Activate Color Change - 5 En - Changes the user's type to match that of an attack that has damaged the user.
  • By default, this Pokemon switches their type before striking with each damaging attack to match the attack they are about to use, and keep that type until another damaging move is used. The energy cost for the attack is calculated based on their type before using the move. When toggled, the Pokemon reverts back to their natural typing. Pokemon that also have Color Change ability may select whether to keep their current type or the damaging attack's type each action.

Mawile [Koboi] (F)

Nobody trusts Koboi. And with good reason. She doesn't have any regard for the rights of others, and in general thinks torture is fun. Fortunately for all, she...isn't very good at getting her way. With Koboi's Mega form inaccessible to her (she hasn't bonded with Mowtom enough), she is all bark and no bite. Yes, I realize that she has tremendous jaws. Even though she can Mega Evolve, she still won't do harm to anyone Mowtom wants safe. She knows that if she does, bad things will follow.

Type: Steel / Fairy
  • Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
  • Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
Abilities: Hyper Cutter / Intimidate / Sheer Force (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon always keeps its claws/teeth/pincers extremely sharp, and thus cannot have its attack reduced.
  • When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1). If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents.
    • Command: Activate Intimidate - 5 En - Lowers all foes' Attack (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage. Only usable if a foe entered play this round.
  • By default this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.

Mega Mawile [Koboi] (F)

When Mowtom participated in his first flash battle ever, he chose Koboi to come along with him. The battle awarded Mowtom 1 CC, pushing him over 10. Koboi flatly refused to come back home unless Mowtom spent those 10 CC on a certain stone. What choice did he have?

Type: Steel / Fairy
  • Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
  • Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
Abilities: Hyper Cutter / Intimidate / Sheer Force (Locked) / Huge Power (Mega)
  • This Pokemon always keeps its claws/teeth/pincers extremely sharp, and thus cannot have its attack reduced.

The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.
  • This Pokemon has immense inner strength that grows with its development, raising its Attack and its Base Rank Total by one Rank for each evolution level (first of three stages = 1, first of two stages or second of three stages = 2, fully evolved = 3). If Skill Swapped, the swapped Pokemon's Attack and Base Rank Total is only raised by one Rank.

Honchkrow [Blackwing] (M)

One of Blackwing's ancestors lived in a world very different from this one. A world where everything was decided by a die roll, and humans could become as powerful as any other species, even using magic themselves. Blackwing doesn't know this, though; his attention wandered to the nearest shiny object each time it was explained to him.

Type: Dark / Flying
  • Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.
Abilities: Insomnia / Super Luck / Moxie (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon is immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage and energy/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker, it will wake up the next action. If a Pokemon with Insomnia also has Vital Spirit, its Attack and BRT are increased by one (1) Rank and its accuracy is raised by one (1) stage permanently.
  • This Pokemon's natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 50% of the time.
  • This Pokemon gets psyched after it earns a KO on an opposing Pokemon, increasing its Attack (and adjust the natural stage) by one (1) stage.

Shelmet [Shelby the Worm who Lives in Jake's Viola] (M)

Shelby lived comfortably for a while after Kent left, but eventually found that missing his younger brother was too much to bear. He went off to travel across the land, searching far and wide for his brother. Shelby eventually found him with Mowtom, but was shocked by that fact that now, Kent is the big one. He joined Mowtom to hone his music skills and still stay near his—now older—brother.

Type: Bug
  • Bug STAB; Adds an additional guaranteed attack on all multi-hit moves (does not include two hit moves) with a total hit cap of five (5).
Abilities: Hydration / Shell Armor / Overcoat (Locked)

Pac-Man, in a cruel twist of fate, was brought up by the dot-munching, ghost-eating, fruit-chomping man himself. He eventually escaped an arrived in the world of Pokemon, where he currently resides. Mowtom was skeptical about taking Pac-Man with him—he already had Harley, after all—before he learned that this upbringing would influence Pac-Man's evolutionary path. Also, Pac-Man has never quite learned to speak the same language as most others, only being fluent in Pac.

Type: Ice
  • Ice STAB; immune to Hail damage, freeze status, and Sheer Cold. Frost Command.
    • Frost Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's Ice moves will have triple the freeze chance. Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type.

Cranidos [LEEROY JENKINS] (M)

Mowtom met LEEROY JENKINS when he stopped near the lab where Jurassic was raised to make sure the scientists weren't keeping any other Pokemon cooped up. They weren't, and LEEROY JENKINS had plenty of room to run around. However, evidently without thinking first, he ran straight into one of Mowtom's Pokeballs. From there, there was nothing to do but welcome him to the team.

Abilities: Mold Breaker / Sheer Force (Locked)
  • Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities. (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, etc.) Attacks are still redirected by Lightningrod/Storm Drain, but damage is dealt normally. Status-immunity abilities such as Limber will remove their relevant status at the start of the victim's next action. For a full list of affected abilities, see http://pastebin.com/sMZktgbV.

Type: Electric
  • Electric STAB; immune to paralysis status.
Ability: Levitate
  • This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Type: Fighting
  • Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw.
Abilities: Steadfast / Inner Focus / Prankster (Locked)
  • If this Pokemon is flinched, it becomes aware of the speed difference and increases its Speed (adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage to make up the difference.

Mamoswine [Hoth] (F)

Hoth is cold. Very cold. She comes from a world perpetually frozen over and has internalized that cold, taking it with her wherever she goes. She even figured out how to weaponize that in combat, which she thought was an extreme accomplishment before learning about Ice-types. At which point she felt just a little warmer inside to learn there were others like her.

Type: Ice / Ground

Abilities: Oblivious / Snow Cloak / Thick Fat (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon is incapable of being affected by Attract, Cute Charm, Captivate, or Taunt.
  • This Pokemon is used to snowy blizzard conditions and gains a 20% evasion boost during Hail. Pokemon with this ability are immune to Hail damage.

The Fourth Fighters

Here one can find the (as yet incomplete) fourth dozen of Mowtom's Pokemon. By now he has a fairly well-rounded team, so any new ones he gets are usually to fill a specific purpose. Of course, this doesn't make them any less special to him than any of his other Pokemon.

Fidgit [Tinker] (M)

Tinker, as his name suggests, invents things. He is always looking at the world around him for ideas regarding what he should invent next, or how to make it. Somehow, Tinker's inventions always work far better when made by him than when made by someone else, even if they are completely identical.

Abilities: Persistent / Vital Spirit / Prankster (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon has a great affinity for odd field effects. When it uses one of these effects it increases their duration. Moves affected are Gravity, Heal Block, Lucky Chant, Magic Room, Safeguard, Trick Room, Tailwind, and Wonder Room by an additional one (1) round or three (3) actions depending on the move.
  • This Pokemon has a high vitality and alertness making it immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage and energy/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker, it will wake up the next action. If a Pokemon with Vital Spirit also has Insomnia, its Defense and Special Defense each is increased by one (1) Rank permanently, and its BRT is increased by two (2) ranks.
  • The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks a +1 increase in priority level. Dark-types are immune to all non-damaging attacks (as well as all moves summoned by a non-damaging move) used by a Pokémon with this ability.

Dewpider [Khepri] (F)

Khepri doesn't communicate very well. Mowtom thinks the most likely reason is that all the water surrounding her head prevents her from understanding the words and gestures of those around her, but isn't sure either way. He doesn't question it because of her amazing battle prowess, but it still bugs him.

Type: Water / Bug
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
  • Bug STAB; Adds an additional guaranteed attack on all multi-hit moves (does not include two hit moves) with a total hit cap of five (5).
Abilities: Water Bubble / Water Absorb (Locked)
  • This Pokémon is protected by a bubble of water which makes it immune to the Burn status and shifts Fire-type moves to their next level of resistance (e.g. ×2 -> ×1, ×1 -> ×0.5). Furthermore, the bubble helps strengthen its Water-type attacks, doubling their BAP.

The Living Legends

This is where the members of Mowtom's team who are spoken about in old legends reside. Don't mention how other trainers have them, too. These instances of the legendaries are special, though: not all of them like him or are under his full control.

Phione [Peon] (-)

Peon does not like Mowtom at all. Mowtom caught Peon after a long journey in the Mysterious Cove, upon which he learned that Peon is associated with the masked man who has some form of malevolent interest in him. Thanks to Mystery's help, Peon will battle for Mowtom, but will not like it.

Type: Water
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
Ability: Hydration
  • This Pokemon absorbs water during the rain to heal any status effects afflicting this Pokemon.
Nature: Quiet (+Special Attack, -Speed)

Shaymin [Trophy] (-)

When he came in second in the DYAE tournament, Mowtom was rewarded with a trophy. This Trophy, to be precise. He was amazed, both by his luck in becoming the first Shaymin owner in all of ASB and by the fact that despite not having chosen him, Trophy is extremely enthusiastic to be Mowtom's Pokemon. If a bit simple-minded.

Ability: Natural Cure
  • This Pokemon's body has the ability to heal itself of status afflictions over time, it goes into effect six (6) actions after being inflicted with a status. In switch battles, this Pokemon heals all status effects when switched out.

Shaymin-Sky [Trophy] (-)

Trophy is a Shaymin, and when there is a Shaymin, a Gracidea is never far behind. When transformed, Trophy is one of the fastest Pokemon there is and has no qualms about relying on luck. Enthusiasm and simple-mindedness combine into a fierce dedication.

Type: Grass / Flying

The Bianca Booth

These Pokemon are not Mowtom's. For one reason or another, Bianca owns each of them. While she is more than willing to let Mowtom use them if he asks, each of these Pokemon is loyal first to Bianca, and only secondarily to Mowtom, even if they fight for him.

Croagunk [Valor] (F)

After Bianca defeated Saturn at Lake Valor, Valor wandered up to her and gently pulled on her leg. Apparently she wanted to travel with Bianca as a thanks for saving her homeland. Bianca looked at the small Pokemon and just couldn't refuse, as she had always wished to have a Pokemon of her own. She is confused about why her first Pokemon isn't an official starter Pokemon, though.

Type: Poison / Fighting
  • Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic status. Absorb Toxic Spikes on switch-in unless Flying-typed or using the ability Levitate. -- Accuracy when using Toxic, Poison Gas, or Poison Powder, hitting even during Dig, Fly, etc. Ignore Fog's accuracy reduction. Store Command.
    • Store Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's moves will have their poison / toxic effect chance double.
      Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
  • Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw.
Abilities: Anticipation / Dry Skin / Poison Touch (Locked)
  • This Pokemon is better at sensing dangerous attacks, and reduced the Base Attack Power from super-effective attacks, Self-Destruct, and Explosion by two (2).

Azumarill [Captain Hammer] (M)

One day, Bianca came upon a Poke-theater troupe, performing Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. The role of Captain Hammer was being played by an Azurill. Bianca sat and watched the production, and when it was done, approached the cast to convey her sincerest congratulations on a great show. The main characters were all so thrilled that a human liked their show that they agreed to go with Bianca as their trainer.

Type: Water / Fairy
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
  • Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
Abilities: Thick Fat / Huge Power / Sap Sipper (Unocked)
  • This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire- and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
  • This Pokemon lives on a steady diet of plants and has developed defenses to every Grass-type attack. When attacked with a Grass-type move, damage and effects are negated and the Pokemon gains a one (1) stage boost to its Attack stage (adjusting the natural stage).

Gardevoir [Dr. Horrible] (M)

One day, Bianca came upon a Poke-theater troupe, performing Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. The role of Dr. Horrible was being played by a Ralts. Bianca sat and watched the production, and when it was done, approached the cast to convey her sincerest congratulations on a great show. The main characters were all so thrilled that a human liked their show that they agreed to go with Bianca as their trainer.

Abilities: Synchronize / Trace / Telepathy (Unlocked)
  • Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and when inflicted by the major status ailments Burn, Poison, or Paralysis, will share their status condition with the opponent. Pokemon will not be inflicted by status conditions to which they are immune by virtue of typing, ability, etc.
  • This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.

Mega Gardevoir [Dr. Horrible] (M)

As the Fairy gym qualifiers rapidly approached, Mowtom and Bianca realized that without a Gardevoirite, Dr. Horrible could not reach his full strength. They searched throughout various Poke-marts, but couldn't find one. Fed up with that state of affairs, Dr. Horrible stole some highly dangerous chemicals to create one himself. Surprisingly enough, it worked.

Type: Psychic / Fairy
  • Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

  • By default, this Pokemon's Normal-type moves are Fairy-type moves, and have an additional two (2) BAP boost. When toggled, this Pokemon's Normal-type attacks have their BAP increased by two (2). Only Normal-typed moves changed by Pixilate receive this boost, and not all Fairy-type moves. If a Pokemon has been skill-swapped multiple abilities that change Normal-type attacks, the attacks become dual-typed, but the BAP boosts of the abilities do not stack.

Upon Bianca's defeat of Mars at Lake Verity, Verity approached her with pleading in her eyes. Bianca did wonder, though, if the same thing would happen should she battle and win against Jupiter...

Say it with me: I-DECK-SUH VON FOY-ER, DARE MEN-SHEN FLYSH-FRESS-ENDUH. When Bianca heard his name spoken out loud, she was fascinated. Nothing from that point on could stop her from approaching Eidechse von Feuer der Menschenfleischfressende and asking him to travel with her. He agreed, and somehow managed to remember said agreement. Bianca says that Eidechse von Feuer der Menschenfleischfressende is okay with being called Eddie, but what's the fun in that?

Type: Fire / Ground

She was not quite prepared, however, for how loud his roar would become.
