This is the reservation thread for Old Gen Lower-Tiers. Read the stuff below prior to reserving anything so you know how stuff works around here. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask any of the Quality Control members or Past Gens C&C Staff.

Our Staff
These moderators all have the ability to upload analyses. Responsibility is divided amongst ourselves for each specific tier, prioritising experience to do a "last check" when uploading. In the event that one of the main uploaders goes inactive, any of us can fill in, though.

Reservation Rules
Anyone is able to reserve up to two Pokemon at a time and a third may be reserved as well, but only until the analyses reserved prior are quality control ready first. Badgeholders and QC members can reserve more if they wish.
Analysis Tags
Be sure to use the appropriate tags on your analyses. The Past Gens analyses forum does not have direct tags for the phase of the analysis, but rather for the generation. Therefore, if you are writing an analysis for GSC, be sure to use the Gen 2 tag, Gen 3 for ADV, etc. While this forum does lack tags for the phase of analyses, you are still required to put the correct phase in your thread title. Here are examples of what this means:
Reservation List
After reserving a Pokemon, you must post your analysis in a timely fashion. Your analysis thread must be up in 72 hours (3 days) or your reservation will be dropped. If you have any extenuating circumstances that prevent you from getting up your thread within this time frame, notify any of the listed moderators above. Pokemon analyses will be categorized under the following headings:
My tier isn't supported!
Unless your format is an OM, Pet Mod, or something similar, the most common reason for a lack of support is because we don't have a QC Team or applicable reservation list. We need these two things to make it work. The aim of this section is to release "definitive" analyses; we want to work towards this as much as you do!
So to get your tier supported, so long as it already exists on the dex, we will need the following sent to us in the form of an application of sorts;
If the format isn't established on the strategy dex — Retro-Tiers, OMs, Pet Mods, defunct formats like ADV LC, tiers that never got analyses — it's recommended that you contact the C&C Leaders (Lumari and martha) prior to applying. This is to ensure it can actually be greenlit and follow policy.
Lastly, for VGC, Monotype, and 1v1, they have their own sections, so you'll want to go there for stuff regarding their formats.

- It's recommended to seek approval from a QC member prior to reservation.
- Once you figure out which Pokemon you want to reserve, post in this thread.
- Do not edit your posts if you wish to uphold your reservation or reserve an additional Pokemon.
- This should be common sense but only reserve a Pokemon if you have a good amount of knowledge about it and experience with the metagame.
- Lastly, don't post a WIP thread without a sample set listed at the very least. Ideally, WIPs should be posted within a week after reservation, but this is not a hard requirement. There is little reason not to post the skeleton right after making the reservation post.

- This should ideally be you!
- A list of QCers that'll form the team, ideally 3 or more.
- These QCers should have some notability in the community. Any evidence of such would be appreciated; testimonials, good posts, tournament results, etc.
- A list of Pokemon to get new analyses.
- We usually just go down the most recent iteration of the tier's Viability Rankings for this.
